As a Christian Camp, every aspect of our appearance should reflect our Christianity. In our calling to make TLBC an environment that is safe, healthy and conducive to Christian training & teaching, and promotes the respect and dignity of all participants, please follow the below guidelines as you pack for your camp adventure. Please wear clothing or accessories that respect everyone. TLBC does not allow items that are demeaning or degrading to individual groups of people, promotes violence or illegal activity (weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or other drug use), exhibit sexual innuendoes, vulgarity, or profanity. Please also keep in mind: -Undergarments (underwear and bras) must always be covered. -Clothing should cover your midriff, back (and lower back), shoulders, and chest.

Be responsible for the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of participants Lead or assist your Bible Study Group in 4 Bible Studies Share responsibility with your counselor partner to encourage campers to participate Be willing to act as an advocate, an accountability partner, and a role model for all camp participants Be present and engaged with your campers and counselor partner Be willing to abide by the Counselor Code of Conduct as conveyed by the staff Please Note: These guidelines are for everyone’s benefit. It is important the guidelines are respected by all.

In the event a participant needs discipline due to unacceptable behavior, the following process will occur: 1) First situation: verbal warning from counselor 2) Second need for discipline: verbal warning from Staff member 3) Third time may result in a phone call to parent to discuss our options, including possible exclusion.

God has blessed Trinity Lutheran Bible Camp with an opportunity to serve Him through this mission and we strive to ensure that everyone involved has a safe, Christ-centered experience. To accomplish this, there are certain expectations for our participants and staff. By God’s grace, we will provide a safe, organized and fun atmosphere where we can serve one another and grow in our faith toward God. As TLBC Staff or Counselor, I agree to the following: 1) To display Christ’s love through interacting with everyone at TLBC by encouraging one another and seeking reconciliation when confrontation arises 2) To be present & engaged during activities 3) To use electronics appropriately. 4) To participate fully and do all things with excellence as though doing them for the Lord. 5) To communicate openly and positively with all participants and Staff. 7) To share my frustrations/concerns with an adult and listen to what others have to say. 8) I will refrain from any illegal, unhealthy, or behavior not allowed at TLBC such as smoking, drinking, vaping, sexual activity & public display of affection, or possessing any form of weaponry such as knives, firearms, fireworks or pocketknives. 9) To be respectful to participants & Staff and reflect that respect in my behavior and the language I use. 10) To love others as Jesus first loved me.

I, (parent/ guardian name), hereby give permission for the children in my household to participate in Trinity Lutheran Bible Camp (TBLC). This notification is intending to be legally bound hereby, the undersigned agrees and does hereby release from all liability and to indemnify and hold harmless Trinity Lutheran Church as regards to the scheduled participation of Trinity Lutheran Bible Camp. The undersigned further agrees to abide by the safety guidelines, rules, and regulations as stated by TLBC, and I/we recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with these activities. I/we assume full responsibility for any personal injury to myself or my family members. I/we further release and discharge Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Bible Camp for injury, whether caused by the fault of myself or my family, TLBC, or third parties. I/we hereby release, discharge, and covenant not to sue TBLC or its host congregation Trinity Lutheran Church Olympia, its employees or volunteers from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on my/our account. I/we have read this document and understand that by signing the release, I/we voluntarily surrender certain legal rights and acknowledge reading, understanding and agree with the terms and conditions, guidelines, waiver, and release form.
